There is a story in the Telegraph today http://bit.ly/12labQY that if gay marriage was legalised, there would be no divorce on the grounds of adultery.  Why?  Apparently, the legal definition of adultery is sex between men and women.  I don’t think a person in a same sex relationship would see it like that if their partner was unfaithful.  Adultery is adultery, by any other definition and the impact is the same whatever the gender.  Perhaps along with legalising gay marriage, we could drag our legislation into the 21st Century.
